Paddle Sports Classes
Since 2001, Laacke & Joys has been providing opportunities for our customers to learn how to canoe and kayak through our lesson programs. We maintain a 5:1 student to instructor ratio in our paddling classes so that you will enjoy personalized instruction in a safe learning environment.
Recreational Kayaking Basics
This year we are continuing our partnership with Outpost Natural Foods to offer four sessions of our “Recreational Kayaking Basics” class. This 2.5 hour class will focus on the basic strokes and safety skills needed to enjoy paddling a recreational kayak on our many calm inland lakes and rivers. By improving your skills and learning both the strengths and limitations of your craft, you will be safer and more comfortable on the water.
Tuition: $50 (includes equipment).
