2009 Sports Show

The '09 Sports Show was a huge success. They had record attendance and with the chance to Enter to Win a kayak from Laacke & Joys... it was an event not many people missed! Check out the pictures below to see our booth and the kayak demonstrations put on by Kevin, our Paddlesports Buyer, Sherri, our Downtown Camping & Paddlesports Manager, their friend Jeremy. Oh, it was emcee'd by Beth & Jen... if you came to see the demo's - thanks for attending. We hope you got a chuckle and learned a little bit more about the sport of paddling!

We would like to take a minute and thank everyone for supporting us at this year’s Sport Show. The five days were a great success, giving us the opportunity to showcase some of our best kayaks to Milwaukee’s sporting crowd. Sherri and Kevin‘s kayak demonstrations were an enormous asset to our venue, and really seemed to excite viewers about the upcoming paddle season. Don’t forget, Paddlefest 2009 runs May 16th-17th, so stop by our downtown location and try out that kayak you’ve had your eye on!
